2015 in Images

2015 was another busy year for Tree of Compassion’s committee and volunteers. It began with continued work at the Animal Liberation Sanctuary, Nepal, and MAITRI Charitable Trust in India. Among the many animals rescued or assisted, one young calf in Nepal touched all of our hearts. Named Kalden, his extensive wounds caused by dog attack seemed to became more extensive with each treatment matched only by his ever increasing enthusiasm and courage to be alive. After several months of daily care his wounds were completely healed.

The Nepal earthquake was a shock for everyone and Tree of Compassion was able to assemble an animal rescue team to help, as well as bringing in vital supplies for other animal charities.

Meanwhile in Australia we continued to support of Dr Howard and Glenda Ralph’s inspiring wildlife and other animal surgery and treatment work.

Our pet rescue program included a very sick and battered stray cat as well as those from local ‘death row’ pounds.

Through the kindness of you, our donors and supporters, we have been able to distribute funds, food and materials to a number of good charities and not-for-profits whose work is grass roots and very important.

Thank you all for your support in 2015 and we wish everyone a very happy, healthy, safe and successful 2016!
