Emergency Surgeries in Nepal

Recently Tree of Compassion brought specialist veterinarian Dr Howard Ralph back to Nepal for urgent surgeries for several difficult cases at the Animal Liberation Sanctuary. Dr Howard was able to provide desperately needed surgical treatment for several goats including Tilopa (fracture), Norbu (poorly responding amputation), and Nyingje (chronic urinary issues) as well other expert treatment and advice. The visit not only provided important life-saving and pain relieving intervention for many individual animals, it also provides local staff with encouragement and training opportunities not otherwise available. Everyone was pleased to see Dr Howard return but sad it could not be for longer.
